Fort Worth’s favorite family festival, Mayfest, is coming home to Trinity Park just in time to celebrate its 50th Anniversary. After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mayfest is bringing back all the cherished aspects of the festival - exciting attractions, delectable food and beverage, an expanded carnival, hours of live music and entertainment and fun for the whole family. Now more than ever, we look forward to celebrating Mayfest by bringing people together along the banks of the Trinity River.

50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

The 50th Anniversary Celebration will begin with a Grand Opening event at the festival gate on Thursday, May 5th. Fort Worth leaders and voices of Mayfest past will recognize the efforts of individuals and organizations that have grown the festival into what it is today. The celebration culminates with a festive parade.

THE FUNDAMENTALS

With six unique areas of excitement and fun, Mayfest entertains patrons of all ages and interests! The thrilling carnival rides, games and inflatables appeal to those seeking fun and adventure. The Oasis is the perfect location to enjoy your favorite beverage in the Craft Beer Garden and Wine Vineyard, or lounge in the VIP Patio presented by Central Market and listen to your favorite band on the Oasis Stage.

One of the most anticipated components of Mayfest? The delectable festival food! We have the staples including funnel cakes, turkey legs, roasted corn and pizza. We also offer distinct flavors such as gyros, fried pies, and steak-on-a-stick. For those with a sweet tooth, savor ice cream, deep-fried desserts, and shaved ice. No matter your preference, we have something to appease everyone’s appetite!
